Dallas police on Monday announced the arrests of five people suspected in three separate robberies in Old East Dallas, White Rock and Buckner Terrace.
On Saturday, police said Jose Montalvo, 17, who was armed, and two other men approached a woman while she was parking her vehicle in the 2000 block of Greenville Avenue and robbed her of her purse, police said.
The woman tracked her phone to the 2100 block of Greenville Avenue the next day and police stopped a vehicle that Montalvo was in and arrested him.
He confessed and named two other juveniles who police said they are preparing arrest warrants for.
